Matteo Maiorano was born in 1991 in Rome, Italy.

As son of two artists he spends his childhood surrounded by paintings, sculptures, music and literature. Growing up, he dedicates himself to all these art forms and immediately starts to make his first little creations.

After high school, he decides to enrol in the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome and finds a new way of expression in the fashion design course.
The academic years mark a period of comprehensive creative experimentation that ends with a bachelor's degree with full honors and a runway show in AltaRoma '17.

Following some experience gained as fashion designer he starts working in the world of luxury shoes, getting in contact and collaborating with professionals of the industry. It won't be long before he makes a personal collection and starts his own brand MAIORANO.
